Although we share the majority of every day, and almost all of our nights are spent side by side, my future spouse and I still live separately. Over the course of our relationship there have been significant yet ordinary and habitual moments that I find endlessly beautiful and surreal. I fear that once we entirely cohabitate, I will find these patterns less charming and will eventually fail to notice them altogether. Although they seem unimportant, I feel that these everyday activities contribute to the formulation of one's perception their lover.
This series is my attempt to hold on to the beauty of the seemingly mundane moments in my life with my fiance. By capturing multiple segments of each scene I hope to prevent the loss of appreciation for the simple, familiar, ephemeral seconds that exist in, and make up, a relationship.
